WASPA Virtual Academy for New HR Administrators and Support Staff In your first or second year of HR? Join us for this academy geared toward new(er) HR administrators and support staff. Learn HR basics and tips and tricks of the trade from veteran HR Directors and attorneys. WASPA’s Academy for New HR Administrators and Support Staff consists of four half-day webinars offering a variety of essential topics. That’s 16 hours of critical training to ensure you start the year with a solid foundation. Each of the four webinars will end with a 30 minute interactive session to answer your burning questions and offer additional tips. WHO SHOULD ATTEND? Any school administrators or administrative support personnel involved in HR duties – posting vacancies and recruiting talent, processing new hire paperwork, maintaining personnel records, payroll and compensation, conducting benefits enrollment, managing employee performance, training and development, employee relations, managing FMLA and other employee leaves of absence, or developing HR policies, procedures and handbooks. The HR Academy will include topics listed below, panel discussions with mentors and the opportunity to ask questions.
