A Message from the President:
It is an honor and a pleasure to serve as the President of the Wisconsin Association of School Personnel Administrators (WASPA) for the 2011-2012 school year. WASPA provides Wisconsin school districts a wide variety of human resource expertise. From professional development activities that are focused on the latest HR trends to practical how-to subcommittee meetings, WASPA has it all.
WASPA is the professional association for school administrators who have HR responsibilities. Whether you are a superintendent, business manager or a Human Resource manager, this is the professional organization for you.
WASPA hosts four major staff development opportunities each year. The organization hosts a spring and fall conference that focuses on the needs of our members. As the issues become more complex, so does our conference program. In addition we co-host a HR/Business Manager’s conference with the Wisconsin Association of School Business Officials (WASBO) and a support staff seminar that helps to provide staff development to our valuable assistants.
We are a member-driven organization that strives to provide timely HR information to our colleagues. We invite you to get involved. For more information on how to get involved contact WASPA@wi.rr.com.
As a superintendent in a medium sized school district, I have found WASPA to be invaluable. I can get pertinent and up-to-date human resource information from local and state leaders with a simple email request. The members of WASPA are here to help and support each other.
