Eligibility Requirements

WASPA Business Affiliate Eligibility Rules

We know that relationships are important to organization success. The Business Affiliate membership is designed to help businesses develop solid and sustainable connections with school Human Resource leaders that will be mutually beneficial. Business Affiliate membership is available on an annual basis, providing opportunities for connections with those responsible for HR administration.

To be considered as a WASPA Business Affiliate member, the vendor must meet the following criteria listed below:

  • Any business, vender, corporation, or private individual marketing a product or service to Wisconsin public school districts or educational institutions that is reasonably aligned with the WASPA mission is eligible to apply.
  • Anyone interested in becoming a Business Affiliate member must complete a WASPA Business Affiliate application form.
  • Applications will be reviewed and approved by the WASPA Board on a case-by-case basis.
  • Business Affiliates are prohibited from marketing or promoting their applicant tracking services at any WASPA conferences or WASPA sponsored events due to the exclusive partnership with WECAN. WECAN was developed cooperatively with WASPA and we continue a strong partnership. Although companies that offer applicant tracking as part of their products and services are eligible for membership, we will not allow any promotion of specific elements of products or services that are in competition with WECAN at our events.

The fee for a Business Affiliate shall be determined annually by the WASPA Board of Directors. Business Affiliate does not constitute a WASPA endorsement of any goods or services. Business Affiliates are not eligible for access to WECAN. Business Affiliates are not eligible to serve on the WASPA Board, nor do they have WASPA voting rights.

Business Affiliates will receive all WASPA mailings and will enjoy the benefits listed on our Benefits of WASPA Membership as well as the benefits of registering and attending any and all parts of WASPA events, including all sessions, receptions and meals. This provides an opportunity to interact with and form one-on-one relationships with HR administrators from across the state of Wisconsin.
