You are invited to join other leaders at the first annual Wisconsin Educator Shortage Summit on October 12 & 13, 2023, at the Concourse Hotel in downtown Madison. The purpose of this Summit is to join together to gather information, generate ideas, and draft action plans to address the educator shortage in Wisconsin.

The Educator Shortage Summit will convene focused groups of stakeholders to address the educator shortage.  Central to these conversations will be collaboration to share best practices and development of an action plan to address the impending educator shortage crisis.  This summit will allow for comprehensive and collaborative conversations among districts, higher ed, governmental and other agencies to address the educator shortage in the state of Wisconsin.  We need your voice at the table.

On day one, we will share national perspectives and processes looking at data and efforts underway in other states.  On the morning of day two, we will focus on developing action plans to address the educator shortage in Wisconsin.  This working group will develop action plans to proactively address the issues we face.

Please join us in this important work.  It is necessary to have varied perspectives and voices represented at this interactive summit.  By working together, we can address the educator shortage in Wisconsin and ensure that we have a high quality educator in every classroom, for every student, every day.

Please RSVP here to reserve your spot at the Wisconsin Educator Shortage Summit.  Space is limited, so please sign up today.  There is no cost to this event, which is sponsored by WASPA (Wisconsin Association of School Personnel Administrators).
